RU ready for this?

just a lil update on university lifee. rez is absolutely amazing. *p.s. quite a few of our peps are missing from the above pic because of conflicting faculty orientations* we have such a diverse floor (FLOOR EIGHT YO), yet we've all bonded so well it's kinda creepy! it couldn't have been better, queen size beds, pull-out couch, private bathrooms AND a t.v? wooo, jackpot ;) okay, weather-wise it's a tad bit more difficult trying to figure out what to wear (it's like 4 season in one day almost kind of scenerio) but, you can't do anything to change that... unfortunately. as far as school goes, the work-load is sometimes quite overwhelming, but you deal with it. no biggie

on a completely different note, extracurriculars are something else. saturday night to sunday morning was my first on-call shift for "Nuit Blanche" as a first responder. A twelve hour event throughout toronto with free public displays of what people consider art. pretty sweet uniforms, felt special with an all-access pass (haha) and best of all *in great sarcasm* an all nighter then breakfast too.
alsoo, tried joining the choir here, but it is definitely not the same. you don't even understand how ~~terrible~~ it was. one rehearsal was more than enough to experience it all. ): music deprived!

personal life? i love phone conversations with my sister, mom AND NIECE *of course ;) not so much the fact that there's a 3 hour time difference though cause late-night calls are not so sweet. totally love it when i get mail, so if you have time, snail mail me! hehe <3 random texts to my cell are cute too, they actually make my day cause it's unexpected :D either way, i would love to hear back from everyone and listen to their stories!

lucky to be coming *home* again

haven't been on xanga for ages.. but that doesn't mean i can't start again! reading back on past entries? wow, i can't believe the stuff i wrote haha but the most difficult thing about publishing blogs here is all the HTML stuff that i can't manipulate quite as well as i use to xD
sooo.. here's to refreshing my memory!

no joke, no lies. ALOT has happened since the last post. who knew that time flew by so quickly? in the blink of an eye, i've already officially graduated from high school GRAD CLASS OF 2009 and will be continuing my life's journey through the hardships of, you guessed it, university. all just a part of growing up. ~~hmph.~~ & speaking of growing up, my niece is already ONE AND A HALF years old?! holy.. this will be a memorable summer, i'm certain. all the friendships over the years will have to endure a test of faith with everyone leaving and going their separate ways.. we can only cross our fingers that we'll keep in touch/hang out one last time.

finals & a provincial = studystudystudy!
actually more like cramming at the last minute.. *sigh. oh well.
on saturday, mom, sis, her bf & i decided to "da been lo". my sis was especially excited cause she hadn't for 'the longest time' well, her bf was in charge of getting the food & omg, i swear he bought enough food for maybe 10 people?! look for yourselff.. that was only half of it. goshh.
anyways, it was super nice of him to buy us dinner for the week... *i hope we can finish it by thenn
